The Silverjet and The Azerbaijani of The Wankers Club bravely rode forth to Berner Oberland to have their kneecaps split in a pre-season cold spell.
Important observations and learning points:
- The Silverjet is missing. The legacy of his name is now carried on by a prominent member of the Stockholm dry tooling scene (the scene itself perhaps less prominent).
Furthermore:
- Hiking up the city dump still makes a more relevant ice work-out than going to the gym.
- A regular wanker with bivy gear will ascend the road to Breitwangflue slower than Ueli Steck on the north face of Eiger (also some 1000 meters, in the next valley).
- Phones and cameras will freeze en route at the same temperature as your feet.
Lots of photos in our album.
