Markuz climbing Fission. "I had a nice 4-day trip February 15-18. Ice conditions were too good for dry tooling. I chose to postpone my fission attempt. Instead, I went climbing with Allan Christensen. He might be Denmark's sharpest ice and expedition climber. We did Haugsfossen, Juvsøyla and Lipton.
After that, I tried Fission with Markuz Lindgren and two other climbers. I was too exhausted from the ice routes for more than toproping, however. Markuz succeeded to climb the route bareback in excellent style. "
Allan approaching Haugsfossen.
Lipton instep February 16, 2007. Crux pillar almost attached. Perfect conditions right now.
